All in the family

Postby Rebecca Iavelli » Sun Apr 28, 2013 3:05 pm

Sigh, I don't know why I did it, but I got curious about my youngest brother, since I hadn't seen him in a long while, so I decided to see what I could find on google. Seems like things are still the same with him, saw that he got arrested for the upteenth time back in November for not paying child support. Don't know which ex-wife is the one calling it in on him, or if its several of them. What's weird is that the mugshot of him didn't even look like my brother that I remember, though it has been at least 10 years since I last heard from him. I guess the old saying is true, like father like son.

So I got curious about my sister too, and only found a facebook page picture. She looks the same.
Sometimes I wonder...

Family. Sigh.

No, he's a true redneck(sorry, but he is). Married at least 3 times, and at lest has 6 to 8 kids, by several women (last I remember was at lest 6).

It's been 13 years and counting since I've willingly had to deal with my family and I hope to continue that streak. So, so toxic and narcissistic.

(And sadly, a major part of my reluctance to ever go back to MA even for a visit)

Same here LG, reguarding going back to Kentucky for me. Too many relatives that try to tell you how to live your life, especially since I am a woman, and should be married and have my own 10 or 12 kids, by now.

Are you sure you got the right guy?. Maybe there is another guy with that name that looks exactly like that picture. It happens to me all the time. There is another guy with the same name that lives about 6 miles away and I always get calls looking for him. (usually it involves his brother Dale).
I don't mind growing old... but I hate growing up.

Nope, its my brother. He's changed, but there are several pictures (mugshots), that show him aging up, so yeah, while it's hard to believe its him, it is. He gained weight, which kinda threw me off, as he has always been a skinny kid with high cheekbones, but with age he has fleshed out (like we all do, lol).
