I HATE going to the laundrymat!!

I've been going to laundrymats for over 13 years. My landlord will not allow me to have a washer or dryer, but then the appartment probably isn't well set up for them electricty wise anyway, being a converted attic in an older home.

It's not that I hate doing laundry, I actually like it. I find it very soothing, to take the warm clothing out of the dryers and fold them, (but then of course having to bag them up ruins the folding anyway). It's the lugging the darn clothing back and forth that I can't stand, and never being sure who you might meet at such a place.

But I got them done once again, 10 loads, at $3 a load, and 9 dryers later, which probably was another $20 to dry, I've got 7 bags of clean laundry sitting in the car waiting to be brought up the 3 flights of steps. Can't say I don't get my exercise, lol.

Nothing important in this post, just had to rant.

You are doing it wrong. Just go buy more clothes. That's what my friend Devan did for about 8 months before he got married. He said it was easier than doing laundry.

Then I'm glad I am not his wife! I do hope she made him do his laundry, with 8 months to catch up on, as I don't figure she married him to be his house slave. :P ;)

the possibility of a house slave is an illusion fostered by unmarried men, just like the idea that a man can pick up a girl. In real life girls do the picking up, and men do laundry, and cooking. (If a man does pick up a girl, you can bet he paid for it...)

Once again I failed in my weekly quest to find a woman who looks even remotely like Felicia Day at the laundromat.
