Appreciate it dave, but of course you know the best sessions are when you get to play, though i really don't see that happening much anymore. Almost less than 4 weeks to go, let's all hop on the hype train~~

Also looks like i'll be bringing a new sacrifice with me this year bwahahahahaa

Ok two little tidbits. First, Origins has updated the Event Grid You can get the updated one HERE

Second, and more importantly, they have FINALLY announced the beginning of Event Registration. It will be Monday May 19th at Noon EST*.

EDIT: Ok there were actually three tidbits. Third, if you're looking through the listing of events and notice that the LARP isn't where we'll be normally (which is technically nowhere since no room has been assigned for our RPG events) and you're not exactly sure where Hyatt - Harrison is, I just updated the Hyatt map so you can look at the PDF and see where we'll be (ok for the tl:dr crowd, we're on the first floor meeting rooms (same level as the food court) in the north east corner of the building).

*that is, of course, the day after GenCon's Event Registration goes live...

Even though I really, REALLY want to play in all these games, I promise I will not buy any of these tickets ;)

And just so you know Steven, if you look at our schedule, and I am not running a game, chances are I will be around so if you can get enough folks together (or there are enough just in the area that want to play) I will run more than just the two slots of the newest two adventures.

Actually that goes as a good guideline for all of our games. We always bring extra GMs and have them around at the beginning of the slot just in case there are enough folks that we can run two tables. The only hitch is the two newest and there is (as I said above) plenty of times where I will be around but not running anything.

Also been thinking about our pre-origins dinner on tuesday. If you guys are up for driving to westerville (about 15m N of downtown via freeway) We can goto a greek place I like. Let me know, we are getting close to crunch time. Just told my boss about my time off :D

Well Laura just informed me she hates greek food (well the truth is she hates to try new stuff) but I am game! There was a greek pizza place in downtown Houston that did a feta and spinach pizza that was "to die for" good.

Its not that I don't like trying something new, I do, but I do it slowly. First I must like the smell. If not, there is no way I'm going to try it. Also, if it is green, forget it. I'm your true meat and potato type.

Problem with Greek food (at least around here), is that there is too much olives involved, and those are horrid things. I'm not really fond of strong flavors like anise, dill, onion, garlic, or anything pickled.
I rather rosemary, thyme, or oregano, for seasons.
Yes, I am a picky eater, but I do eventually eat stuff I haven't before. Last year I actually started eating egg and spring rolls, which I had tried but had not liked before.
So "Nyhhhh!" :P Mark

Now I'm craving souvlaki and avgolemono soup something fierce.

(I actually make a pretty damn good avgolemono soup, for the record  )

I for one am a meat only eater too, so if i'll eat at this place that means it's still pretty good even w/out all those gross vegetables. I like yanni's for the gyro's, some real good lamb.... mmmmmm lamb...... anyways... also worst case, they have hamburgers and fries too!

Good to know about the burgers. It will be up to Mark if he wants to go, as he is the driver, but don't know exactly when we will arrive (depends on traffic, and then getting to our hotels, dropping things off, and heading back out).

Oh, and regarding being a meat eater, Lamb/sheep is actually one of the meats I will not eat, ever. It just smells so horrible when cooking (same with fish!), that I can't be in the same room with it.

Of course it's crashing...you all are racing to be first when they are trying to reload the site with the active registration. And in case I forget later, I would like to thank Mark for keeping me busy enough that I don't need to register for event tickets. And don't forget to spend some time with our friends at Matinee Adventures. (these are the GMs that WE like to play with becuase they are THAT good). So if you have an open slot, give their stuff a look.

What a godawful registration process!

One hour and twenty-nine minutes, mostly with no action on the screen. Several events on the XLS don't appear on the search engine. My credit card was ignored for 5 minutes so I backed out and started again. Etc etc...

Well, I'm at work, so it's going to be gen's for me as usual. I had hoped to get into a Matinee Adventures game, but will have to check it when I get home at 9pm tonight, which more than likely will be too late.

It was slow, Slow, SLOW going for me. But on the plus side I did get the two events I was trying to get into. Now I just need to wait the 3 weeks 1 day until we leave!
