Music... The point of a roadtrip is to fight over what song stays on the radio until you grudgingly concede to a guilty pleasure tune and sing along (loudly and poorly)

Which...is the reason you turn the speakers up loudly, so you can't hear yourself singing, and you can feel the music throughout your entire being.

Mark, here is a song by Daughtery. It is the song that caught my attention to him. Of course I do tend to be a bit romatic, and while the song is nice, it was the course of the song that really sunk in and grabbed me.

So I still got time to ditch all my written games and create new ones. Good to know. And alejandro is thinking about a big old game of battlestar galactica following domingo gigante. Or some other ridiculous endeavor in boardgaming. And by alejandro I mean the "pervert" character. And by that I mean Steve.(who is not at all like his character... Ok he is but only the good parts)

Yes for those of you who are willing to not leave immediately after domingo gigante there will be something. Since it looks like BSG does support more than 6 so that will be..... awesome is the word we are going with!

Hmm, Well I have a 12 hour drive back. Leaving after the game usually gets me back at 3am. But maybe if it were a short game...

Mark, I assure you that being the BSG board game it can only end after a short time. Every characater you add just increases the amount of doom involved. Sort of like "funky winkerbean".

WOW we must have made the big time, Clark is the first room on the right side down 'our' hall. As opposed to being hidden way in the back like last year.

Sweeet!

I'm trying to remember exactly how many tables they cram into that room. From the map it doesn't look very big, so I'm thinking maybe 5 or 6 at the most, and I'm wondering who we have to share it with, or are we going to be lucky enough to get it for ourselves only (doubt it).

All I ask is people be aware of Gamer Funk and use the appropriate personal hygiene products as intended.

Ah, but back in the day, thirty years ago, gamers often could sleep on site at some of the Cons. So they would not bother to wash and wore the same clothes all weeked.

Oh one more thing as regards event locations, I also took a look at Matinee Adventures and they're all right next door in Champaign (so we can peek in on them and maybe start an impromptu game of "Assassin" with them between adventures)

Clark will hold 4 tables if they pack them in sardine tight. Optimally it will be no more than 2 tables because that is a very small room. Odds are we got it to ourselves. It's about as big as charlie's suite was last year. but without the amenities. (in my head, this is being read as "yes, yes, yes!. We got clark!. we got clark! We can shout and be loud!. Take that snotty gaming clubs, you louts in fairfield A-F, we da man!. Yes, yes, yes!. WHOOO-HOOOO!!!). I might be a tad over excited about this room designation. (for you origins fun facts fans, I ran a pick up game for Thwak in that room that started the ball rolling on writing the first 7th sea larp)
