| John Hehn is the new General Manager of Professional Safety Services for CertifiedSafety |
September 10, 2011—Deer Park, Texas—In an ongoing effort to continually expand and improve their safety services to the Chemical/Petrochemical industry, CertifiedSafety recently announced that a seasoned industry veteran, Mr. John Hehn, joined CertifiedSafety as their General Manager of Professional Safety Services.
Mr. Hehn has worked in the industry for 28-years. During his time with Amoco Oil Company and later with BP, he traveled the globe working in Operations Management and Construction Management but during the last 12-years he specialized in Health/Safety/Environmental Management (HSE).
He will be applying his vast experience to help CertifiedSafety grow their Professional Safety Service business line. To that end, he will be responsible for developing strategies, objectives, requirements and standards for that business line. He said, “We are going to put a very rigid process in place so that we can attract and retain top quality safety professionals that will be a valuable asset to our clients.”
CertifiedSafety CEO, Mr. Tony Spencer said, “We feel fortunate to have John on our team. His experience will be of great value as we continue to add depth and layers to our services. When we began just 10-years ago, we concentrated on providing some of the most basic safety services such as hole-watch/fire-watch and safety attendants but our goal then, as it is now, was to provide the best trained and most responsible people for those positions. We have never been in the business of just putting ‘warm bodies’ at a site. We take our jobs seriously and so do our employees. John and his team will help us climb the success ladder so that we can provide the best, most thorough professional safety services to the industries we serve.”
Mr. Hehn and his family live in the Hitchcock, Texas area. Mr. Hehn is a graduate of the University of Houston and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
